Illustration Friday: Fail

Having convinced his son that he was indeed Captain Never-Fail, it was finally time for Gregory to go to the kitchen to make macaroni and cheese - without a recipe - using only his super daddy powers.

I love the socks! It makes me feel as though he slid into the kitchen and slammed into the cabinets in his enthusiasm to make mac and cheese for the kids! Ta-Daaaaaaaa!

Running in socks... not the greatest idea in the kitchen, Captain. Might force one of the kids to instantly become the amazing "Major Mysterious 911 Caller."

In all seriousness, nice illustration. Dad's expression is great.

So funny....my husband is the chef in our house and for 13 years I've been asking for homemade Mac and Cheese (my favorite). I think he has been intimidated by it..maybe I'll send him this drawing. :-) Thanks for visiting.

I love it!!! My husband believes he is Captain Never-Fail, but I don't think he has successfully made mac and cheese... even following a package!!

your use of color and line is perfect for this depiction - lovely

As long as he doesn't have to start by picking the wheat and milking the cows, he'll be fine.
